Removing clickable email link

In our directory, we imported data from BlackBaud. One of the field is the email address. We want to keep it but we want to suppress the fact that it is clickable.
Any hint on how to do this ?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 7.0.0, Macintosh

Set it to Read Only. This will not affect how the data is imported.

Thanks for your answer but I don't understand what you mean by Read Only. I can't find anyway to do that in acrobat pro 7.0. Should I use terminal ?
BTW., the links are not clickable in Preview but are in Acrobat
