I have made my first PDF document with "designer" lots of lovely forms and tick boxes, very pleased. It can be filled in then submitted by email or printed. All good. But I made it for a friend who does not want to have to import the data into a template when it arrives. It sends as XML but needs to send as PDF. I found an article on here explaining how to do this. All good. BUT when you try to send the form as PDF from a computer with just the "free" adobe reader it will not work. Is there a solution for this. Is it something to do with rights? Is there a way to save the filled in form and send when using "free" adobe reader? (I'm only a beginner)
After creating your form, you need to enable the form with usage rights using Acrobat 8 Professional. Enabled forms permitht the Reader users to fill in and save form data AND email the complete PDF back to you.
