Alright this will be my last ditch effort to figure this out in adobe, if I can't get it I will Just have to use MS Word Developer.

I am trying to make one form that when a user enters a value into a text field and the value gets to the max char length I want, it tabs automatically to the next field.

I have read all about xfa set focus and custom keystroke scripts. But therein lies the problem, I dont have a clue about either. I see nothing in my adobe designer saying how to input or use them. And I have looked all over. I see the script editor on the top toolbar but thats all I can find. And I have just about spent 20 hours on researching how to do this and nada

I know it's a bother to ask but can someone hold my hand here and give me a step by step or even send an example. I would really appreciate it. I would like the entries to remain uppercase as well.
