Can you import a single field rather than overwriting all matching fields on a data import?

No, but you could use other fields to receive the imported data and then move it as necessary. Note field do not need to R/W or visible for JS to modify.

Thanks for the information and the suggestion. If I understand correctly, I could create a group of "hidden" fields to receive the import and then use JS to programmatically move the data to the true target fields.

Is that correct?

Also, Do you know how to prompt the user to choose the import XML file using a form button?
