Hi All,
 
I am Newbie for PDF, and working on a Acrobat project that needs to show two pdfs and make it side by side (like the tile vertically), and cross reference between two pdfs, using javascript.
 
I am using Acrobat 8 pro, and I have read the API, just find the execMenuItem is not working for tileVertical.
 
Question 1) I wanna know is it possible to use javascript to make two pdf showing side by side and
 
Quesiton 2) make two pdfs cross reference(click pdf A text, pdf B will jump to different page)?

anyone can help on these questions?

I just wanna know it is possible to do in acrobat with javascript or not, as I need to answer my client. Thanks!!

Due to security restrictions, not every menu item can be executed through JavaScript. The list of what' available is here..

So on to the questions...

#1) No - see above

#2) Yes - that's just a cross document link. PDF A can open PDF B but you can't then cause them to tile but PDF B will be the "active" document
