Troubles getting to the A9 JavaScript reference

Has anyone had trouble getting a hold of the JavaScript reference?

I downloaded the Acrobat 9 SDK and unzipped it but I cannot get the help documentation to unzip. I only get some of the files extracted before Windows Explorer says it is restarting.

I'm on my computer at home running Vista.

Hi StevenD,

I had a bit of trouble too- after you unzip the file you should see a new folder named Acrobat 9_HTML Help. Open any .php file in that folder, then click on the small icon in the top left corner (tooltip is "Show Navigation"). Then you'll see JavaScript in the left panel with all the usual topics underneath- API ref, Batch Sequences, Developing Apps, etc.

Hope this helps,

Dimitri,

Thanks for helping out with this. The main problem is I can't get the whole thing unzipped. It gets part way through and then I get an error saying Windows Explorer is going to restart. Everything closes and I'm taken back to the Desktop.

I have tried doing as you suggest and open any of the .php files that it are in the folder but I see no small icon in the top left corner that I can right click on.

All I want really is the JavaScript reference.
