Dear Learned Ones,
I use the Typewriter tool to fill scanned paper documents. Each paper document I use is from a different organization, so each document layout is different. The info I fill in is all the same. Is there a plug-in (or how do I create one) that will allow me to click on the document with the Typewriter tool, then say, right-click (or select from a menu)a list of pre-determined text strings(name, address, city, state, etc) that will automatically insert into the selected area?
You could make up a set of stamps that are your predetermined strings and just stamp the data on to the document.
You could do this with an automation script, but it's not trivial.
But otherwise, No.
