Word 2003 Printdate to PDF

Dear all,
I know that this question has been asked already, however I tried the solution but it did not work in my case. I have a lot of word documents in 2003 where it is essential to convert them to pdf and also keep the PrintDate field active. I tried the solution with a text field in acrobat 8. prof and then set the document actions did print to receive the date, but it did not work.
Could anyone please help me again, it is very essential to have this and unfortunately I am a newbe to Adobe Professional...

Ok, you want some kind of active date field on the form? Acrobat does not convert interactive content like form fields or thier actions. You'll have to write any custom actions in JavaScript. What exacty do you want this date field to do? Please explain.
