We are a world-known magazine brand but a small company. We are building a new website to place thousands of pages of existing PDFs online. However, before we do this, we need assistance with the following:
- the most efficient way to reduce the file size of heavier pages containing images (black and white only)
- adding visible "Copyright...." text on each page (in a batch process - as efficiently as possible)
- we will extract the PDF into individual pages; we want to embed one pdf page per webpage (with text, html, navigation buttons and ad banners surrounding the PDF) and want to know the best way to do this. Do we need to worry about resolution; are there different embed HTML codes that can be used? Is embedding a PDF the best way to do this, or should we use Flash, to prevent people from "stealing" the documents?
I am imagining this to be perhaps a 5-10 hour consulting job - part training (say via remote session), part research and part creating trial and error comps with some back and forth with us. I am open to more hours if I have underestimated the time needed.
Thank you.
Andrew
