I have a 1/2 letter page size form that I need to get a little programming help with.
In particular I need to use three drop down lists, the second and third populated with only relevant choices based on previous choice, as in the example that Thom Parker gives in his tutorial "Programming List and Combo fields in Acrobat and LiveCycle forms - Part 1".
I also need that first drop down list to select a logo to display to the left while at the same time populating drop-down list 2 with relevant choices.
And lastly, I have an install date that will be user entered that will calculate two warranty expire date fields.
If this is something you can do or help me accomplish then I'd be interested in a short gig arrangement. I am located in Seattle not all that far from Adobe in Fremont, although that hasn't rubbed off much on me yet. :)
Your request sounds straightforward, i.e. some event scripting and calculated fields. I'm guessing that there probably won't be any user-entered values in the drop-down lists (please correct me if I'm wrong).
About Me - Experienced with form creation in Acrobat 9 (8,7,& 6 for that matter), Acrobat Javascript and LiveCycle Designer ES2 and acquainted enough with the XFA scripting model in LiveCycle Designer to know my way around to getting things done. Please email me if you would like to talk details.
Thanks,
