Automatically created named destinations for transcripts?

I was wondering if anyone here has come across a program that will automatically create named destinations for page and line numbers.

I have also found that if I have the view in continuous and set my named destination for 10:25 so line 25 of page 10 is at the top of the page when I go back and check that destination it goes to the top of page 11. Anyone else have that problem?

Any help with this would be great.

One of your problems with the destination could be related to zoom, try playing around with this.

Arts PDF used to have a program for doing all kinds of stuff with links and bookmarks based around destinations. I don't know if they are still supporting it. There is also a company called EverMap that makes a number of similar tools (www.evermap.com). I don't know if either of these will do exactly what you want.

before setting the link at a point near bottom of page (like line 25) narrow the vertical dimension of the window so that the visible portion of the page where the link is to be set (p.10 in your case) covers more than 50% of the narrowed window and the next page (p.11) is less than 50% of the window. then set the link at line 25.
