Batch Bates Numbering in Acrobat X

I upgraded a month or so ago and unfortunately, this is the first time I have needed to Bates Number a production. In Acrobat 9 it was a fairly easy process and I have not been able to figure out a good and simple way to do this in Acrobat X. Although I have created an Action -- it seems to prompt me to plug in the bates number at each document. Also, I cannot find a way to have it rename the bates numbered document with the BATES number range the way Acrobat 9 could do it.

Any Actions or some button I am missing that makes this as easy as it was in the previous version?

Thanks.

All those same options from Acrobat 9 are available in Acrobat X. They've just rearranged things a bit.

There is quite a bit of content on Actions here at this site.
Have you see these videos:

And my Favorite;)
http://adobechats.adobe.acrobat.com/p31286518/?launcher=false&fcsContent=true&pbMode=normalIt's prompting you because you've got the Prompt switch turned on. Watch on of the videos, It'll show you how to set/unset this option. The file rename options are also there (in Step 3)

Thanks. I found the old way you bates numbered it's in the Tools panel. My issue is you have to have a PDF open the trigger it. This is something that should be reconsidered.

HELP. I don't find how to do Bates numbering in Adobe X. It's not under Tools. (It used to be under advanced in old versions; then it was Tools, Pages, Edit under trial version; I bought Adobe X and there's no "Edit" under Pages; and nothing under Tools or Pages for Bates numbering. Did I buy the wrong Version ?

I have to say, this is one of the more annoying aspects of Acrobat X. You don't always want a document opened when you bates label. It's just an unnecessary step. Bring back the tools menu!
