Preventing one page from having a Bates stamp or manually adding a Bates to one page?

Hello to all. I'm working on a case with thousands of pages of discovery. The pages were Bates stamped by the other side; however, here and there the person doing the stamping missed pages or gave the same Bates number to different pages and it won't be fixed. So for our purposes, I'm attempting to have it all be one document and use the Adobe Bates stamping function to make it easier for us to go to a certain page. I've been trying to figure out if I can designate certain pages to be skipped for Adobe Bates Stamping, or if I can tell it to give those pages a unique rather than consecutive number (such as 66A instead of 67). Sorry if this doesn't make sense -- this case has already robbed me of a certain degree of sanity -- but I hope someone understands what I am attempting to describe and knows how to fix it.
