3 up PDF for printing

Hi I have a question if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.
I currently have an in design file that has 3 areas for PDF placements. What happens is I get separate PDF files and I have to place them on a "spread" so we can batch print out everything. Right now I have to manually select each PDF to place it in it's proper place. I've searched and found some ways to place the PDFs when it's one up on a sheet but in this case the PDF is 3 up on one sheet.

Currently I select file to place.
I have a template setup and I place my PDF into that area which is setup to shrink to 35%.
Then I do this manually for over 100 PDFs.

Does anybody have any ideas how to make this happen quicker?

By “in design file” can we assume you really mean an “InDesign document?”

There is no direct, built-in method to do what you want in InDesign. However, I suspect that you could readily put together a Javascript script to do this within InDesign optimized to your particular needs. You might check on the Adobe User-to-User forums for assistance with this.

Note though that if you are simply using InDesign as a poor-man's imposition tool (just doing 3-up as opposed to having other significant content on the InDesign document pages), there are much better solutions in terms of Acrobat plug-ins. For example, one such plug-in is Quite Software's “Quite Imposing” products.

Hi here's a screen shot of the InDesign file so you can see it: http://www.impactcolorprint.com/sample3.jpg

Basically I have 3 images and I have to change them individually right now. Do you think Quite Imposing is the way to go? It's only for this document that I ever have to do this. The image here has a "dummy" image set up but it'll give you an idea. Thanks for your help!
