I recently purchased a new pc wiht VIsta, sp 1 installed. Installed Acrobat 6.0 and Office 2003 which I was happy wiht. Vista said there was a problem wiht Acrobat but had no solution other than to contact vendor (Acrobat) Not much help. My problem is when I try to covert a Word file from .doc to .pdf it goes through all the steps until the last one then Word hangs up. Installed all updates available as well as reinstalling both progams twice. No change. Problem seem to be with the print driver but not sure. Adobe does not offer downloads of any drivers. Anyone have any ideas other than junking the programs. Don't like that idea as it would be costly to replace them both. All help much appreciated.

Acrobat Standard 6.0, Windows

You will have to upgrade Acrobat.
Specifically to 8 or 9.
If to 8 you will have to then process the updates.
Support for Acrobat 8 on Vista began with the update to 8.1.
