I am having an issue when converting to PDF from Word 2003, I have Acrobat 7.05 Pro and once the file is converted and I view the PDF some of the Lines(borders and shading) from my Word table are missing, If i print the PDF file the Lines show up but not on the screen. If i change the Zoom of the PDF the lines sometimes show up view zoomed in at 400% to 600%, but it is not consisent. any help would be great.

The problem with the lines arises from the way the table is drawn in Word. When the lines are very thin, as you are describing, they are too fine for display. You should see them on the printed document, however.

Go back to your Word doc and increase the thickness of the table's lines.

Hi again --

Something you might like to try directly from Acrobat if you are using Professional is adjusting the size of the lines using the Hairline tool.

Choose Advanced > Print Production > Fix Hairlines to open the dialog box. Specify the size of the lines to be replaced and the size of the replacement lines. Click OK to change the content.donna.
