Acrobat 8 not letting me choose where I want to save the file

Working in Vectorworks (CAD software) and i need to print my drawing to a PDF. I go about it as I usually do-

File>Print
Choose Acrobat 8
Print

This is the point where i normally get the dialog to choose where i want the file to save to. Nope. It just processes the file and saves it to the desktop.

any suggestions?

In the print dialog box (with the Adobe PDF printer selected) click on the Properties button (upper right corner). Under the drop down menu "Adobe PDF Output Folder Location" make sure Prompt for Adobe PDF filename is selected.
