acrobat 8.2.4 crashes/closes when creating multiple pdfs lexmark

When I create PDF files with scanner the Acrobat will close or freeze 50% of the time when scanning additional pages.

I am using Windows XP Pro SP3
Lexmark 2500 All in one Scanner. I have the current drivers from Lexmark for this printer.

Adobe Acrobat version 8.2.4

This also happens on another computer with same Lexmark printer (udated driver) and Adobe Acrobat 8.2.4
bu the OS is Windows XP Home SP3

Me too! Happens with x264dn in Windows 7.

I just spent some time with Adobe on the phone. Try this - use ClearScan function on options.

I have had the same problem although it is limited to Windows 7, I also have issues if I try and convert a document to .pdf with right click functionality if acrobat is already open.
