I want to scan a document and save as a PDF but Acrobat 9.0.0 cannot find my scanner when I go to create a PDF from my scanner.
My scanner is an HP Officejet Pro L7590.
How do I get them talking to each other?
All my other programs recognize my scanner.
Please help.

The sanner needs to have a TWAIN interface. You should check for updated drivers.

What is the OS?

I downloaded OJPro7X00 enu Enterprise 7.exe from HP.com which is the driver they listed for my system and for my scanner.

I rebooted and still was not able to create a PDF in Acrobat 9.0.0 from a scan.

Do you have any other advice or information that would help me?

I have the same problem, except it worked before. Now it does not. Please let me know how to fix.

I should add that I have an HP Scanjet 7650. I just tried scanning using the option for HP 7600 instead of 7650 and it worked. But it does not work under 7650.
