Folks,
I am a first time poster but long time Acrobat user. Recently upgraded to windows 7 and thus Acrobat 9. My machine is a sub 1 year old Dell Studo XPS with 4 gigs of memory and lots of space on the solid state hard drive.
My Problem:
As you know, when printing to PDF the dialogue box appears to name the PDF. When that happens Microsoft word goes into a "not responding" mode. If I happen to click on the screen it crashes and I need to restart the app. If I click on the PDF dialogue box and print, then the not responding mode goes away and it acts like normal.
I am also having some issues with IE where I click on a PDF and it loads a blank screen. There is a warning dialogue box that pops up but its blank. If I close both and reload, it loads perfectly.
Any ideas?

P.S. - I just loaded the 9.3 update about 5 minutes ago. Problem was pre-update
logon as local admin, delete the pdf printer and reboot. Now logon as local admin again and reinstall the pdf printer. To do this add a local printer, choose "../pdf." port, when asked for driver location choose programm files / acrobat 9/ xtras / pdf***** (****=i forgot). There u find the inf files u need. Now you can logon on with domain user again and it works.
My customer has a brand new dell inspiron notebook with 4gig ram and windows7 and had the same problems.
Greets,
