I have just installed Acrobat 9.0 Pro and it works fabulously well on Word and Excel and stuff. I cannot get it create PDFs from my version of Pagemaker 6.5, which was on the computer when I got it and I have no software installation discs. There is an error message when I try to save the document as a PDF that says "Cannot register Plug-in. Please re-install the plug-in component". Could anyone tell me where to find the plug-ins for this program or tell me how else I need to solve my problem? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 9.0, Windows

Usually this means the you have to rerun, or repare the installation for PageMaker. I know PageMaker is made by Adobe, but I don't think Acrobat ships with anything special for PageMarker. It's possible that the old PageMaker plug-in for PDF doesn't work with Acrobat 9. Have you checked to see if there is any info on the PageMaker support site?

i have similar problem with page maker 7.0 and page maker 6.5. any number of reinstallations of both page maker as well as acrobat pro 9.0 is not solving the problem. when i had acrobat pro 7 or 8 i did not encounter this problem. as soon as i am installing acrobat pro 9 the printer icon is diasppearing from the printer and faxes menu.
