Hi...can anyone pls explain to me what's the difference between Distiller & Professional? From what I can gather so far, the Distiller should come together with the Professional version to enable files to be converted into pdfs (ie u need the Distiller to convert files into pdf)...sorry if this sounds stupid - techno idiot here..:)

The Acrobat Professional product is a suit of programs that can create PDF files and forms. It includes Acrobat Professional program, Distiller, LiveCycle Designer, Adobe PDF virtual printer, and various macros that can be included in MS Office products to create PDF files.

Distiller is a program that converts PostScript files into PDF files. Distiller is provided with both the Standard and Professional versions of Acrobat. The version of Distiller provided with Acrobat Professional includes the ability to monitor "Watched Folders" and automatically convert any PS file placed in the "Watched Folder's" "In" directory into a PDF and places the created PDF file and optionally the inputted PS file into the "Watched Folder's" "Out" directory.
