Acrobat ignoring additional pages in scanner ADF

This has happened on different computers scanning from different network scanners. If I put 6 pages in, it pulls two in and ignores the rest. If I copy using the machine, the pages are pulled correctly with no problem. If I use another application to scan the documents, they complete with no issues. I have narrowed it down to Acrobat but I'm stuck at what I should do. It is Acrobat 6 Standard running on windows XP desktops. Both Acrobat and the O/S are up to date patch wise. Any help would be great!

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 6.0.6, Windows

Are you using a WIA or TWAIN driver? Is the driver you're using the latest version?

It is a twain driver. It is the latest version. There is no WIA driver available for this particular machine.

What type of network scanner is this? Have you tried creating a new user account with administrative privileges, and then logging into Windows using the new account.
Do you have OmniForm installed on any of these machines?

One is a ricoh and the other a savin. Based on the scanner driver, I think they use the same scanner mech in both machines. I have found a workaround. It is a standalone app that just scans and creates a pdf. It is installed on the same machines as the Acrobat and works without any user account shannanigans. This seems to be an issue with the adobe scanning engine and this make of machine. Thanks!
