acrobat pro 8.1 blacking out embedded excel 2007 in word 2007

Ok, I think it was working before but can't seem to figure out what happened? We have a word 2007 template that has embedded excel 2007 formulas so that we can change 1 number and all the numbers change (it is a sales contract).

When we try to save the word 2007 file with the excel 2007 embedded it creates the pdf but the excel part is blacked out.

HELP!!!

Might be a bug in Word/Excel. If you have a physical PostScript printer, can you try printing to it and see if that works fine?

Nope, it blacks out when printed too. I need to resolve this problem.

You should try asking in a Microsoft forum. I did some Google search which has some hits around this topic but no specific solution.
