Is there a way to preserve the Active URL Links that are made in Publisher when converting it to a PDF?

I found that when I make the links in Publisher, they are no longer active when I convert it to a PDF.

Thanks for your help.

Acrobat Standard 7.0.9, Windows

What process are you using to create your PDF from Publisher? If you're using the PDFMaker macro in Publisher make sure the "Add links to Adobe PDF" checkbox is selected in the conversion settings. If you're printing to the Adobe PDF printer then you can add the links using the "Create Links from URLs" under the Advanced --> Document Processing menu. If this doesn't work have you checked the syntax of the hyperlink in Acrobat?

I am using the PDFMaker macro in Publisher. I have not been able to find the "add links to Adobe PDF" checkbox. Could you tell me where this might be? I am using Acrobat 7.09. or does this matter? Thank you for your help.

In Publisher, look for the Adobe PDF menu. Under this menu select, Change Conversion Settings. Under the Setting tab of this menu you should see the link option.

Thank you for helping me. I realize that these same answers are under general questions for PDF Creation.

I was not able to find "add links to Adobe PDF" in Publisher, but I did check other microsoft applications on my computer and it was on those. I am not sure if it is with the version of publisher that I have (2002) or just publisher itself for the reason that it will not display.

Perhaps it isn't part of the macro for Publisher. Have you tried other option of adding the links using the Advanced --> Document Processing command as mentioned above?
