Add web page to Existing PDF...

I'm having problems using this feature. I've used it in the past and it was quirky then as well.

The first thing I do is

1 - Convert web page to PDF...

I leave the document open then (also tried closing the document)

2 - Add web page to Existing PDF...

The last time I used this feature it worked on one document I crated but I couldn't get it to work on another. Is there any process I need to follow or something I'm doing that is causing this to not add the additional pages (eg closing the document before trying to add additional pages).

fyi...the conversion progress box comes up and has a green checkmark.

I am having the same problem. I am using IE8 and Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, version 9.4.1, on Windows 7. This process was working in December. I just discovered that several pages I had added to an existing file after 12/9/2010 did not actually get added.

I have done a bit of testing and found that pages are not added if the site is an https site, but apparently are added if the site is a non-secure (http) site.

As noted above, the conversion progress box indicates success even when the process fails.

This is a very useful process. Being unable to use it for https sites is a major complication. I hope there is a solution.
