I have just spent 2 days creating a PDF with approx. 100 different layers that all have thier own toggle to turn the visibility on and then off again. I have been asked to add a few more item, which means that I need to imort some more layers.

When I do so then I will have to go trough and edit all the previous layers once again, and edit the visibility to make sure that the added layers are no longer visible when not needed.

Is thier a way to set the layer so that it is not visible before it it imported, or a quicker way of fixing the problem without going through and editing all the toggles?

Did you try this ? : go to the layers nav. panel > clic the panel menu > Import as layerThis create a new layer from an existing file.
Here the tip is : the existing file can be a 10 pixels white square, also you can delete the imported content…

Yeah That is what i am doing is importing a layer from another file.

What i am importing is pictures, and I want them to show when I click on a toggle. However if I bring in new pictures then they are always sitting ontop. When I click on the toggle to turn it on, and then go to click on a different toggle it stays on.

The only way to correct this from what i have been able to find is to go back through all the toggles and edit the layer visibilty, with the new imported layer turned off.

Is there a faster way?
