We have an application that requires Adobe distiller printer identical to Distiller 5.0.5. Is this possible with Acrobat 9? Loooking for options.

Acrobat Standard 9.0, Windows

Can you explain what you mean by distiller print icon? In later versions of Acrobat, the Distiller printer was changed to Adobe PDF. It's listed under the printers using this name.

My customer has an application that is hard coded to go to the Adobe Distiller printer driver. The app required that the Distiller print driver be set to the default printer in order to render printing.

It is my understanding that only Acrobat 5 had the "Adobe Distiller printer driver". Any ideas short of having the App provider re-code the app to use the adobe PRF print driver?
