Anybody know the number of pdfs that will go into a pdf package

I downloaded a trial version of Acrobat 8 and am trying to put 2000 pdf into a pdf package. It seems to limit me to 5 or 6 hundred. When I select all of them, I'm told that one file is not found but it is there.
Each othe pdfs are about 400k.

Anybody know if there a size limit or number of files limit in pdf packages. Or is ther a limit with the trial version?

I'd put about 2600 one-page PDFs (each PDFs is about 20/60 Ko) in one package, no problemo.
