I have to convert MS word documents to pdf to use them on a pc in a proof reading package, I am having issues with arabic fonts.
I understood there where issues with Simplified Arabic so I purchased the latest language pack for Office, this came with Arabic Transparent font, It still seems to generate the same errors as Simplified Arabic eg licence issues

If I create a pdf from word on a Mac using the same word document with the arabic it doesnt fail to create the pdf, It did with the simplified arabic.

Any ideas, Do I need yet another arabic typeface or is there a way around it?

Acrobat Pro 8.0, Windows

Can you specify exactly what errors are being generated?

I'm having an issue when I try to save a MS Word document that includes some Arabic text as a pdf file the Arabic text is missing in the pdf file. Although, if I print the document to a pdf file the Arabic text is there. Other people in my building do not have this issue. I need to use the "save as" method.

yes i got it.i have same problem but thank GOOD i find the solution on here.
