I am a new user of Acrobat 8 Professional and I am developing a project to archive e-mail messages and attachments and make them accessible to all researchers. I have several questions: when I convert an e-mail message to PDF, do the attachments convert also or do I do that separately? Also, is there any way to review the e-mail PDFs to locate redundant records and remove duplicate messages? Is metadata part of the record after conversion and will metadata be useful in the management of this project?
Acrobat 8 Professional works closely with both Outlook and Lotus Notes.
If you launch Outlook as an example there are many options under the 'Adobe PDF' menu at the top.
Yes, all attachments will be placed inside the PDF by default.
There is no way to location duplicate record in Acrobat.
Yes, metadata is included inside the PDF but you might want to elaborate on your use for metadata or XMP?

I've been using Acrobat since v1.0 and still get amazed by its power. An Acrobat ACE since 1999
