"Auto-split" from Scanner?

We have a new Kodak i1220 document scanner which came with Acrobat 7 Standard.

We use it daily for scanning incoming documents and the scanner-software (twain) converts the scans automatically into PDF and puts them to a network folder.

What we now want is to put separator sites between the different documents (e.g. black pages) and Acrobat (or some other tool) should save the documents until a black page is recognized and then make a new PDF an so on.

Is there any plugin ore something to get this through?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Ok, found the solution by myself :)

The Acrobat plugin AutoSplit pro (http://www.evermap.com/autosplit.asp) does that PERFECT!

You just have to put separator pages between the sites to scan, on every separator page has to be printed the same word (e.g. "separator page"). In the plugin use the function called "use separator: page with matching text".

Yesterday, after my advice (thanks again to them), the (very friendly) guys from that company also put a new function in the plugin called "exclude separator pages from output documents".

Result: you can scan tons of different pages in one scan with your document scanner, put separator pages between the sites, and the AutoSplit plugin makes separate pdf-files according to the separator pages with "one click".
