Automating PDF creation from multiple PDFs, selecting pages

Trying to find the best automated solution for this task:

Three PDFs: text, graphics, and tables. Building one final PDF, for example:
text pages 1-3
graphic page 1
text pages 4-5
table page 1
graphics page 2-3, ...

You get the idea. Now I have over 500 of these tasks, each one for a particular client. Currently I drag and drop pages to get this done, but would like an automated solution that I can "save" and reuse.

I do most of my work from Adobe Acrobat Pro 6 on Windows. Am looking at the Evermap plug-in right now, with which you can save lists of PDFs/page ranges to do repetitive merges.

Honestly I am overwhelmed. Maybe I got lost on the forest of free split/merge programs out there that I missed obvious solutions, maybe inside Acrobat itself. Oh, I also have Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 for Mac. Any ideas on how to best accomplish this task would be greatly appreciated. Cheers...

BTW this forum is excellent!
