Backing out of pdf to postscript

I have hundreds of hi-res, printer-quality, x-1a pdfs that need to be repurposed into lo-res pdfs for the web. What is the best way for someone using Acrobat 6 on WinXP to do so?

Our MAC users are using Acrobat 8 and are able to Export to postscript from the File menu...and save the postscript to Watched folders that auto-covert the postscript to lo-res pdfs. The problem is that the person responsible for this task has the Acrobat 6 on XP machine and short of buying him a MAC we need a solution. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I should add that in version 6, there doesn't seem to be any clear provision for this. There is a Batch Processing... command under Advanced, but that only offers conversions to various image formats and postscript is not one of them. Are we just missing something? Or was this capability not built into version 6?

I figured it out. While it's not overly apparent, it can be done through Batch Processing. Thanks to those who viewed anyway!
