Can anyone recommend an easy way to somehow run OCR on large amounts of large PDF files?

My small company is scanning around a thousand pages a day. The only way we know to run OCR is in Acrobat's 'Document' > 'Recognize text using OCR' menu option. This requires many mouse clicks, but more importantly it takes ~15 minutes per PDF file, and if the person forgets to run the tool, we can no longer trust our ability to search within documents.

Any recommendations to automate or expedite this are appreciated!

You can use a Batch Sequences to perform OCR of the PDF files.
(n.b., using Professional - see if you can setup in Standard - if not, consider a license to Professional (it'll pay for itself in short order)
