Bitmaps won't show up on created PDF's

I use Acrobat 9 Professional Extended for creating documents. When I try to create PDFs from Word 2007 the Bitmaps do not transfer or show up in the new PDF. When I used the add-in from Microsoft to create PDFs in Office 2007, it worked fine, but now it doesn't. Does anyone know a work-around or setting I need to do to make it work. Thanks.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro Extended 9.0, Windows

{lease share more details !

What types of "bitmaps" ?
-- Are they RGB Jpeg files, are they Tiff files, are they GIF files ?
-- Are you on Windows or Mac ?
-- have you tried Printing to file and using Adonbe Acrobat Distiller ?

Thanks for the quick response. To answer your questions:
- The files are .bmp files
- I'm on a Windows Vista computer
- I've tried printing to file, but have no luck (If there are steps to doing this, please let me know. I might be doing it incorrectly)

Again, when I used the add-on from Microsoft in Office 2007, it work fine, but with Acrobat 9 Professional Extended I've had no luck. Thanks.

I figured out the problem. In Word 2007 under "Options", "Display", "Printing Options" the box for "Print drawings created in Word" was not checked. We use templates that contain background graphics that mirror certificate forms. The last time I did a certificate, I turned this option off so that only the text would be printed on the form and did not turn it back on when finished. When Acrobat 9 Pro created a PDF from Word 2007, it essentially used this option to exclude pictures from the final file. I'm relived that's solved. Thanks to all who were working this issue.
