I am using Acrobat 9 with a new scanner. Every page that I scan has a big black border (larger at the top and bottom than the sides). I have not cliked on "Black Border" in the scanner settings. I have chosen legal size as the default, but this did not happen on the old scanner with the same choice. It even prints the black border.
The black border also apprears when I save as a PDF from an email attachment. How do I get rid of this border? It adds to the size of every file.

I have discovered that this also happens when I receive a document by email attachment and save as a PDF. I don't even need to scan it. How do I get rid of this big black margin to the left and right of every PDF file?
