Booklet printing, rearranging pages

I have scanned a much loved 32page A5 booklet and will make new ones from this old one!

This means I have to rearrange the page numbers so that page 1 and page 32 be on same A4 landscape sheet, and the page 2 nad page 31on the other side. Next sheet must show page 3 and page 30 on one side and page 4 and page 29 on the other - so on.

Is there any way in Acrobat Pro this can be done in an easy operation?
I use Adobe CS4...

All answers much appeciated !

Hi Helene,

Have you tried the booklet printing option in the Acrobat print menu?

Open you 32pp book - go File/Print/Page Scaling/Booklet/

If this does not work then try solutions such as Quite Imposing or PDF Snake as an example of imposition plugins for Acrobat - demos available on the websites.

Hope this helps?

Jon

I've been using Acrobat since v1.0 and still get amazed by its power. An Acrobat ACE since 1999

Many thanks for your instructive suggestion! I will try this out!
I also have an idea to singularely scan each A5page and take them into Indesign.

Hmm... two great way of doing this! Wonderful!!
