With Acrobat Standard I create a pdf from a word document using the 'Convert Word headings to bookmark' option on. The problem is that while most bookmarks show up with the heading level included (e.g. "1.5 This is a heading", some do not ("this is another heading"). How can that be?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 8, Windows

Make sure you are current with your copy of Acrobat Standard, as this sounds like a bug that we fixed a while ago.

My Acrobat Standard is version 8.0.0 - so it should be the latest, shouldn't it?

I upgraded from Acrobat 6.0 to 8.1.0 Professional for Word 2007 compatibility. My Heading 2s in Word no longer bookmark properly in Acrobat if there is a page break before the heading (which is typical and needed). This issue occurs when I generate a pdf from Word 2003 and Word 2007.

My documents are extremely long (can be 500 pages). I should not have to reset each one in Acrobat.

Please advise if there is a bug fix/patch. Thank you.
