Hi, first post on these forums.
I have a technical document with internal and external links. Right now it's in Word 2000 on a PC. I downloaded the trial version of Acrobat 8 for Windows and made a pdf that has all the links as it should. I made bookmarks from structure and they came out screwy. After reading an article on this site, I saw what I did wrong and tried again. This time they came out perfect.
In between attempts though, I posted a question to the Adobe formum asking for help, and mentioning that I would be buying the Mac version once I was through with the trial. Several people posted that on the Mac I would not be able to preserve the links or make bookmarks from structure.
I talked to someone at Adobe who assured me that after installing the latest patch, everything would work.
So...is that true? I can buy either version for this job. I'd rather buy the Mac version, but only if it works as advertised.
Thanks,
Robert
