Can you fix renderable text?

I was trying to optimize an Adobe file but could not because the page contained "renderable text." Is this [renderable text] a font that Adobe does not recognize?

If so, is there a way to have Adobe X automatically change the font style?

Renderable text is text that has been run through the OCR process. So, you should be able to search and perform cut and paste operations. As to whether or not you can change the font, this is dependent on what PDF Output Style you selected during the OCR process. If you selected ClearScan during the Recognize Text process, then this process will create a custom font for your text. Then, using the Edit Document Text tool under the Content panel, you can select the text, right-click to select the Properties and then change the font.
