can't print to pdf

New computer, Sept 06, bought & installed new Acrobat 8 shortly after. Was able to print to pdf (eg from a web page (Firefox) and from Word). Installed some software (J2SE Runtime Environ, Nero 7, Direct X) . Could no longer print to pdf (even inside Acrobat) -- hangs up after about 60% progress. Tried removing, reinstalling Acrobat -- still no go. Tried removing Nero 7 -- still no go.

This may be a problem that only Adobe Technical Support can answer for you. Try to contact them and see where you can get.
