capserve.exe problem

Version: 7.0.9
Function: Recognize text using OCR
Problem: After scanning quite a number of pages (anywhere from say 30 to 1000) the OCR engine (capserve.exe) will stop working and the only way to be able to do OCR again is to reboot the PC. Any ideas why this is happening?

Could be a memory overload. Try scanning in small batches of pages and save regularly.
