I have created a PDF file from word 2007 document. Everything went well as expected, except for the PDF bookmarks in the left pane of the file.
The multilevel list (Table of Contents in the word 2007) which is displayed as bookmarks show the chapter names, but not the chapter numbers.
Before converting to PDF,
I have ensured proper numbering is provided to the chapters (I have used the default Word 2007 headings: Heading 1, Heading 2…)
In the (PDF) preference in the Bookmarks tab, Convert Word Headings to Bookmarks is Checked and Ensured Elements, bookmark checkbox and levels are properly assigned.
Can someone please guide.
