Compare 2 PDFs side by side. Then create a single PDF of the 2 compared files.

I am trying to create a single PDF that shows 2 PDF files (old and new version) side by side. Is this possible?

Very nice. Thank you. can I take this one step further? I still have a problem. I can open the compare file with no problems on my PC with Acrobat Pro. If I take the file into a conference room that only has Adobe Reader installed onto the machine the compare function does not work. I need the file to open with using standard Adobe Reader. Really, it would be fine if Adobe could just put 2 files side by side. I do not need the compare function. I can glance at each page and see the differences. In the final file, I would see each (old and new) page side by side. But adobe would only recognize them as 1 page. Can this be done?

I too need to be able to create a single PDF file with a side-by-side comparison of the two documents as use to occur in Adobe Professional 8. We have recently upgraded to Adobe X Pro and I can't figure out how to do this.

--| Adobe Reader (there is no 'standard' or 'professional' version) does not provide the "Compare" feature. You can use Adobe Reader to view two PDF files side by side. Open the files. From Adobe Reader's menu bar select Window > Tile > then choose either Horizontally or Vertically.

But first, go Edit > Preferences > Convert to PDF and select Microsoft Office PowerPoint. Click the Edit button. Review the options available in the dialog and configure as desired.
