Conversion of DWG to PDF

Hi,

Can anyone help with the above, we are looking to devlop via an API or similar using the Adobe tools; an ability to convert DWG type files to PDF and retain the ability to measure using Adobe Viewer 8.1 after conversion.

I believe that LifeCyle ES will allow the conversion via an API (I think) but can not find anything to indicate being able to retain scale?

You don't need LiveCycle just Acrobat 3D or Professional. Here is more information on how Acrobat can maintain viewport scale on Tim Huff's blog at:

Also, you can convert DWGs to PDF in Acrobat 8 Pro. or 3D within having Autocad installed:
