Convert Word 2003 docs to PDF (acrobat Pro 9)

Everytime I try to convert Word docs to PDFs, I get a Microsoft Word pop up asking if I want to "...save the changes made to 'Acr[X].doc' (where [X] is a random number).

I get a choice of 'Yes', 'No' or 'Cancel' but no matter what I choose the PDF conversion stops and the document closes.

Anyone tell me how to fix this?

Acrobat Pro 9.0, Windows

Are you using Office 2010?
