Hi,
We use PDFMaker in MS Word 2000 to pdf multi-chapter manuals. Each chapter is a separate Word file. We use the Convert Word Headings to Bookmarks feature, and select the first 3 Heading levels to convert.
As we pdf each chapter, we notice that sometimes the bookmarks are not being created. When we check the conversion settings, one or more of the heading levels will have lost the X in the selection box.
This occurs apparently randomly. We will have Word running, have the Conversion Settings set up properly, then use the Convert to Adobe PDF feature on several files sequentially. At an unpredictable point, the heading level selection will change, and bookmarks will not be created.
Does anyone have any ideas or information about this annoying glitch?
Thanks!
