Does anyone know of software that will read a folder with hundreds of scanned pdfs and convert all of them to OCR pdfs and save them in the same folder structure with the same file names with a different tag? It would take me months to do this manually!
A Batch Sequence can be created that will OCR the PDFs containing the scanned, not OCR'd, images.
You can select which one of the three OCR options you want to use.
Using the output options you could designate either a prefix or suffix to the filename.
(something inserted before)+original file name+(something inserted after).pdf
When processing large numbers of such files I find that most Windows boxes provided in the work place
or used at home are, well, less robust than one might like. So, in order to make a long process less long,
I'd kill all unnecessary processes, the screen saver, hibernate, and sleep.
It helps to have a box you won't be needing for a while because once you start the Batch Sequence the box
in use will not be available for anything else.
