When I try to convert a simple pdf form back to a word document, the result if terrible. It doesn't keep any of the form intact. I tried running OCR and I get a message "unable to OCR, text has rendering" or something to that effect. I've used Scansofts PDFmaker and it works like a charm converting back to word. Just wondering what I'm doing wrong.
You aren't necessarily doing anything wrong. Trying to OCR content that is already text results in the error that you have experienced.
You can try to export as RTF instead of Word, sometimes that produces a better outcome.
